Editorial Review

Amazon.com: This Baywatch reunion movie, like the 11-year television series itself, is a guilty pleasure short on story credibility but long on action, hardbody appeal, and hot passions. The hyperdrive plot finds Mitch Buchannon (David Hasselhoff), presumed dead at the end of season 10, alive and well and in love with a woman named Allison (Alexandra Paul), who bears a spooky resemblance to Mitch's late lover, Stephanie. Wedding plans that include the old Baywatch lifeguard crew (Pamela Anderson, Yasmine Bleeth, Billy Warlock, etc.) are set for Hawaii, but in a Wrath of Khan-like twist, a villain (Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa) from the old show's second season turns up with an elaborate plan to kidnap and endanger Mitch's guests. The script is shameless, of course, but the outre element is fun to watch, including a subplot in which Mitch's former wife (Gena Lee Nolin)--suspicious of Allison's true motives--gets into a spectacular catfight with her ex's new lady. --Tom Keogh

If you like Baywatch this is the movie for you. This movie brings together cast and characters from previous seasons. This movie stands alone as the greatest of the Baywatch movies. I strongly recommend for the serious fan or if you enjoy action movies.

I thought it was a very well done movie when it was on TV. It was great to see all the old stars but the Stephanie look alike was a bit much for me though. Mitch should have know something was up from when he met this gal.

Baywatch Hawaiian Style!

stars-5.0 Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding [Region 2] by 2003-03-30, 3 people found this review helpful
This Baywatch movie takes place in none other than Hawaii. It has the returns of the most popular stars including Mitch, CJ, JD, Caroline, Taylor, Summer, Lani, Hobie, Kekoa, Jason, Cort, Neely, Leigh, Eddy, and "Allison" (Stephanie look a like). The movie also has a returning guest star Cary Hiro-Yuki Tagawa as the villan Sato. It is a good TV movie and has great scenes of the Hawaiian Islands. As for the acting, you can judge that for yourself.

Typical Baywatch! Fast moving story and great well known babes. Pamela looking great as usual, especially in the scene when tanning wearing the very skimpy pink string bikini, striking hot!

Good Movie, Too Bad...

stars-5.0 Baywatch: Hawaiian Wedding [Region 2] by 2003-08-05, 4 people found this review helpful
I am a teenage boy who likes to watch Baywatch. At first it was to see the hot chicks like, Nicole Eggert, Pamela Anderson, Carmen Electra, and Stacey Kamano. As time went on I started to like Jeremy Jackson "Hobie" (when he was older), Kelly Slater, David Charvet "Matt", David Chokachi "Cody", Jose Solano "Manny", Jason Mamoa "Jason", and Michael Bergin's abs. Too bad hot stars David Charvet, David Chokachi, Kelly Slater, and Jose Solano could not be in this movie. The 4 guys I just wrote about have it all, great bodies and faces. David Charvet is best known as playing "Matt", the first "hot" Baywatch babe. As time went on David Chokachi "Cody" got that spot, as did Jason Mamoa, and Michael Bergin. As for Jeremy Jackson and Jose Solano, well they never made it up that far in the cast. They were more like cast members who never got much storylines but were featured in the opening sequence. Jeremy had a hot body but something about his face is not right, well he has a hot body, that's all I care about. See this movie for cast members from different seasons. David Hasselhoff from season one to Jason Mamoa season 11, the end. It has great scenes of the Hawaiian Islands and the best mixed cast. The thing that disappointed me was that Jason Mamoa, Stacey Kamano, Brande Roderick and Michael Bergin were not featured that much. I guess because they were on Baywatch Hawaii and that was the show that got the Baywatch series canceled? Who knows. See this movie because just about everyone in it is hot.

One word: Ok

I missed Stephanie dying which must of been a tough part to play. You knew something was up when you first tune into the DVD. Hasselhoff, Andersen and Paul pulled the movie through, although I believe there should have been more action. It was excellent to see everyone toghether once again, I would like to see another reunion movie...more action, more music. I do believe Hasselhoff's character is long due for a wonderful relationship with a beautiful and talented lady. I am going to kick myself beacuse I cannot think of Pamela Bach-Hasselhoff's chatacter on the Babywatch show, she would be perfect for the part. After what this couple went through this year...it would be picture perfect. With this reunion movie Baywatch is in need of a comback if not weekly, twice a year. The acting in this movie is the same which is refreshing after seeing so much violence on TV, it's great to see the calm of the ocean instead of a gun every 5 minutes. The only reason 3 stars I felt it needed more action...the ending isn't surprising but Hasselhoff's acting then and there earned him 5 stars, Andersen kept you smiling or laughing...CJ is CJ.

Question about music

I have a question, can someone tell me who sang "Life is a Beach", and "Love is a Many Splendored Thing." I enjoyed watching this movie because I enjoyed watching Baywatch. I also love the location of Hawaii.
